Angie Harmon has been an American model/actress for many years. She's appeared in numerous films and television shows. At first she worked as an established model, and later after gaining international fame she made her first attempt at acting. She started her acting career in 1995, when she appeared on a TV show called Baywatch Nights. Apart from voice work Harmon also voiced an animated version of Batman Beyond, the movie Return of the Joker. Harmon decided in early 2000 to focus on film work and stop working with the TV shows. After a few films and a few short films, she returned to her role on TV. In 2008, she was among of the few actresses to pose discreetly nude in the magazine 'Allure'. The character as Detective Jane Rizzoli was her most famous work in the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. As a detective she received a lot of praise and accolades. Angie Harmon was nominated over these past years for her excellent performances, but has not won any awards.
